Founder Tessa developed a passion for animals early on. When her German Shepherd mix Nelsen developed a food allergy, Tessa, on the advice of her vet and due to a lack of alternatives on the market, began to cook for him herself and develop needs-based, plant-based recipes. This is how VEGDOG came about – to fill the market gap and offer a healthy alternative to other dog owners in similar situations.
